Here are a few quick notes around submissions:
You may make your submissions as far in advance as you would like. But please make sure to select an issue date within a few weeks of the event.
ONLY the information in the "Submission Title" and "Submission Copy" fields plus your link and image will be included in the newsletter. The other fields in the form are for organizational purposes only.
If you are submitting an event, please make sure to include the date, time and location of the event in the copy. If all 3 are not present, your submission will not be included. We may not have the opportunity to contact you for clarification.
Please keep your submission titles to about 30 characters and your copy to under 100 words. This is meant to be a quick read. It's is, after all, called the MICA Minute!
As a reminder, the MICA Minute is for things happening over the next few weeks or for quick announcements. There are other avenues for bigger stories that require more space; the MICA Stories portal for instance. Think of it this way, the MICA Minute is for the WHO, WHAT and WHEN. MICA Stories go beyond that and include the HOW and WHY.
Here are the links to those 2 forms
Don't forget to submit your events to the Event's Calendar here in order to be listed on the website and the MICAapp. The newsletter and the events calendar are not connected and require different information.
